What payment options do I have?

Cash, check, money order, cashiers check, or credit card.

What is your payment policy?

Payment for new clients is required at the consultation. If paying by check, we will collect payment at consultation, but we request that check be dated for first day of service. If paying by cash, cash can be left on the counter before our first visit. Current clients can leave payment on counter, unless other arrangements have been made. For all clients, if payment is scheduled to be left on counter, and is forgotten, there will be a $5 fee if we need to make a return trip to pick up payment.

Why choose Creature Comforts of Charlotte Pet Sitting over a kennel?

When you leave a pet in a kennel, they are in unfamiliar surroundings and a different routine from what they are used to. Having a professional pet sitter allows them to stay in the comforts of home, have the same routine, and not experience any unnecessary anxiety over being away from home. Also, Creature Comforts of Charlotte Pet Sitting provides mail and newspaper services, which can deter potential burglars. If you choose a pet sitting company in Charlotte, NC that is not insured/bonded, you run the risk of being liable for any trouble that might occur during their pet sitting appointments.

Does Creature Comforts of Charlotte Pet Sitting do any social networking?

Yes, Creature Comforts of Charlotte Pet Sitting is on Facebook: click here to visit us on Facebook, we also have a blog: click here to view our blog, and we are also on Twitter: click here to follow us on Twitter.

How is Creature Comforts of Charlotte Pet Sitting different from other pet sitting companies?

We differentiate ourselves through price, service, and personal touch. You will always be able to talk to the owner, where at other companies, you may only be able to talk to an office manager. Creature Comforts of Charlotte Pet Sitting can also post videos of your furry loved ones on our YouTube channel, so you can see your pets while you are away!. Click here to view videos.

Who will be doing the pet sitting?

We make every effort to try and ensure that the person that does your initial consultation will be the sitter who is in your home. All of our sitters are insured, bonded, and have gone through a background check. Due to increased/high demand over the holidays, bookings are scheduled on a first come/first served basis. If you have a different sitter than the one that did the initial consultation, please know that our sitters are all given background checks, and are insured and bonded under Creature Comforts of Charlotte Pet Sitting. If there is a conflict and your primary sitter is unable to do all of the visits, that will be brought up at the consultation or before, that way the client is aware of the conflict.

How much notice do I need to provide?

While obviously we would like to have as much notice as possible, we do realize that things come up that are unexpected. Prospective clients that need service are required to give 48 hours notice, due to the fact that we will need to do an initial consultation. In case of emergency, if less than 48 hours notice is given, there will be a $10 charge. Current clients need to give 24 hours notice, less notice will result in a $10 charge.

What is our cancellation policy?

There is no fee for cancellations with 48 hours notice or more. Less than 48 hours notice will be subject to a $25 fee. Thanksgiving and Christmas clients will be required to pay a $30 deposit to secure services. Deposit will not be refunded if client cancels. If client does not cancel, the $30 will be taken off the final bill.
